Today Ukraine confidently moves by development of the national state based on principles of democracy and market economy. One of the major priorities of development of our State is increase economic and a social welfare of all citizens of Ukraine under conditions of democratic management. Such vector of development - a vector of eurointegration, especially after a transition period and an establishment in the beginning 2005 new democratic and socially directed authorities in Ukraine, has renewed a urgency of a problem of revival of an agriculture and the Ukrainian village - one of the most powerful and, at the same time, the most thrown components which cause existence, well-being and development of Ukraine.
One of the basic directions of authorized activity of the Independent Trade Union of Farmers and Private Landowners and its Branches in territory of Ukraine is introduction of charitable Programs and Projects on creation and development of non-profitable structures (the enterprises, the organizations and establishments) which activity is directed on maintenance of not most protected categories of the population with the goods, robots and services. Thus, charities of the mentioned non-profitable structures is carried out at once in three directions:
Х On the one hand - granting of workplaces requiring, including youth both able-bodied pensioners and invalids;
Х On the other hand - granting to needy citizens, the budgetary organizations and establishments of the direct help in the form of the goods, works, services;
Х From the third party - distribution of a part of the received incomes to development existing and creation of new non-profitable structures, introduction of new charitable Programs and Projects, actions, shares, etc.
We are greatly interested in implementation of the new technologies into agricultural management and take part in different international conferences and events as well as International Exchange Programs. In 2002 the Chair of the Board of the Independent Trade Union Myron Hyryavets visited the USA and took part in the Agricultural Project in the State of Mississippi. The Independent Trade Union of Farmers and Private Landowners is the participant of the State Program "Revival of the Ukrainian village" which has been caused by non-performance of requirements of the Law of Ukraine "About local self-management in Ukraine" chairmen of rural and regional advice and with their agencies in management of the municipal property and representation of interests of a community is not provided.
This fact became the reason of inefficient use of the grounds and conducting an agriculture, as has led to an economic crisis in an agriculture, to generation of unemployment and poverty on village. Thousand hectares of the ground of a thricket tall weeds and not to spring because of absence of technics. Manufacture of agricultural production became unprofitable, that negatively influences growth of economy of the State as a whole, and villages of Ukraine require the help for their revival.
The Independent Trade Union of Farmers and Private Landowners holds teaching seminars aiming at assisting farmers in their collaboration with state structures and programs. Thus in the previous year 80 farmers benefited about 1 400 000 hryvnyas of state assistance in their business activities.
We face too many difficulties in legal land privatization. And the Independent Trade Union of Farmers and Private Landowners is providing its assistance to the farmers in this direction too. It is necessary to stress that special attention is paid to the farmers living in the mountainous areas of the region. The present Program of the Independent Trade Union of Farmers and Private Landowners takes root with the purpose of the decision of the following problems :
1. Mass creation of workplaces for citizens, first of all youth, able-bodied pensioners and invalids, citizens with especial needs, and also the military men dismissed from structure of Armed Forces of Ukraine;
2. Developments of agrarian sector in regions;
3. Revival of settlements and villages which are on the decline;
4. Creations of system of social protection of the population, first of all rural, and infrastructures of development of rural territories;
5. Creations of system of social protection of motherhood and the childhood, first of all "children of street", orphans, having many children and incomplete families, etc.;
6. Vocational training and employment of youth, first of all with especial needs and what have finished military service, without change of their residence;
7. Appreciably decisions of a problem of food safety of the State;
8. Maintenance with habitation of requiring layers of the population;
9. Fastenings youth on village by creation of corresponding conditions for residing and work.
10. Assistance to development and introduction of innovative technologies in agrarian sector, and also with the purpose of performance of other problems of this Program, including technologies of the savings of energy and use of highly technological energy sources.
